Mendeley has the wonderful function to permanentely synchronising its database with a BibTeX file. In Mendeley choose Tools | Options... and pick BibTeX. Then select the settings as shown in the picture below. In SciPlore MindMapping you can then choose the BibTeX file created by Mendeley and work as if you were using a BibTeX reference manager such as JabRef.

AND: We would recommend you to create a Watch Folder in Mendeley and create a watch folder (called "monitoring directory" in SciPlore MindMapping) in your mind map. Watch the video to see the benefits of monitoring for new PDF files.
